Tina Reeves

Tina Reeves died of the coronavirus on April 27th, 2020 at 58 years old. Tina was a licensed practical nurse from Blacklick, Ohio and had worked as a nurse at Pickaway Correctional Institution since 2006. According to a statement released by her family, Tina “loved her job as a nurse at PCI.” To support her work, Tina had been a longstanding member of the Ohio Civil Services Employees Association.

Tina was a fun and giving person. In their statement, her family wrote, “Our mother, Tina Reeves, leaves behind three daughters and 10 grandchildren. There was nothing she would not do for us. She loved to shop, was always smiling and always saw the rainbow in every situation.” Tina was also very loving. Her family continued, saying, “Mom, you are no longer here to physically embrace us and take away the pain. But [you have us all] wrapped up in your arms.” 

We mourn the loss of Tina. A kind and dedicated person, she will be missed.
