Valentin Gonzalez Lopez, named after the February 14th holiday on which he was born, passed away on August 13th, 2020, at the age of 69 at Hospital Galveston in Texas while incarcerated at the Ramsey Unit. His large family will miss him very much. Amongst them will be his wife Placida Gonzalez and their children Artuo, Teresa, Griselda, Rosa Elena, San Juana, Maria Louisa, and Saul.

Born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Valentin was a humble man who worked hard. He showed kindness and love to all around him. A God-fearing man, he loved to read the Bible and was a believer in the Word of God. He will be missed and his time on Earth will be cherished.
