Roosevelt J. Henderson
Una traducción al español está disponible a continuación.
Roosevelt J. Henderson passed away on August 11, 2020 while residing at the Chillicothe Correctional Institution in Ross County, Ohio. Corrections staff claimed it was because he had a bad heart. Assuming he did have some cardiac issues, his acquaintances at Chillicothe say that Roosevelt had come down with COVID-19, and it was likely the virus that caused his death.
Known as Roose to his friends, one of Roosevelt's distinguishing attributes was his great heart. He "expressed his love of his children daily," cared “with a passion" about others, and "embrace[d] everyone with love.”
Roosevelt was intelligent, honorable, kind, and charismatic. He lived by the values of loyalty, respect, and love. He had an "ability to always put a smile on [people’s] faces and warm their hearts with love." He was uniquely gifted with both traditional intelligence and incredible street smarts.
Roosevelt's popularity with the ladies was legendary. His infectious smile and, "a walk like he was gliding on water," evidence of his easy confidence. He was readily recognized as a "smooth brother." Roose enjoyed several hobbies: wrestling, basketball, football, and fashion. He loved top hats, cars, and most of all, spending time with his family.
Roosevelt was a father, brother, grandpa, nephew, and great friend. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary, his grandparents Robert and Eula Mae, his sister Sonqueta, and his favorite aunt, Gretchen Rudolph.
Roose is survived by his four children, Rica, Roosevelt Jr., Ray Shine, and Charles, his sister Shanita, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
Though we all mourn the loss of Roosevelt, his family and friends are rich with cherished memories of Roose.

Roosevelt J. Henderson dejó este mundo el once de agosto de 2020 mientras estaba en el Instituto Correccional de Chillicothe en el Condado Ross, Ohio. El personal en el instituto afirmó que su condición tenía que ver con su corazón malo.
